I think I want to take classes. How do I start?

Contact me at karen@nullkarenthefitnessgirl.com. I’ll check the schedule for availability, and if there’s room, you’re welcome! Once you decide to continue taking classes, I’ll share a calendar with you that students use to add/edit classes as necessary.

I’ve never done Pilates before. Can I do this class?

Yes. I used to teach Pilates for beginners, so I’m very comfortable with beginners. I’ll work with you individually while the more advanced students move ahead.

I’m new to exercise, especially weight training. Is this for me?

Absolutely. Strength training is an essential part of a well-rounded workout regimen, and I’d love to be the one to get you started. The exercises might get challenging, but there’s always a modification that will suit a new or less coordinated participant!

How does payment for classes work?

If your schedule is unpredictable, you can pay for one class at a time at a drop-in rate of $14. If you’d like to pre-pay for multiple classes, it’s $12 per class. I currently take cash or check only.

What do I wear?

Be sure to come in sneakers. Wear comfortable workout clothes, and keep in mind that for the Pilates part of class your legs will be up in the air!

What do I bring?

Bring water, a towel, and a mat if you have one.

Where do I park?

Park across the street from my studio (there is no parking on my side of the street). You’ll walk up the driveway and find a stone path that leads to a sign. If the door is still locked, there’s a bench outside where you can wait.
